Came here to try the circa 1935 shio ramen. Got the chashuu shio ramen 1000円. Pretty good for a 90 year old recipe, not much fat or lard, very clear broth. The chashu was lean meat. The restaurant isn't too tourist friendly, I'd say which is why Ajisai is more famous. All locals when I went. Overall a cool experience to go back in time to 1935.

There is no English menu but the chef/owner can speak a little. The curry rice is great, it has 3 pieces of juicy beef in it, unlike most curry rice in Tokyo where there is only minced meat in it. The Gyoza is also great, 500 yen for 8 pieces. Overall a great place to have lunch when you are exploring the surroundings.
